Cubism is one of my favorite phases in school, and green is my most challenging palettes. This is why this 1973 original is very close to my heart. I was in the army and in love with my dream girl. Later on I discovered that I could teach a few things on color theory after I made it my job to study under masters like Paul Klee and Sonya de Launay.
Elhamy is an Egyptian artist and teacher with 45 years of professional experience. He works in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, graphic and interior design, and wooden toys. He is the owner of Graffiti Artistoys, a graphic arts studio located in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. He also owns a workshop for the production of educational toys and materials, and is co-owner of Box of Wonders (Sandouq el Agab), a shop selling folk-inspired wooden toys and automata in Fustat, Cairo. Elhamy recently moved to Los Angeles, California, to be near his children (and adorable grandchild) and looks forward to exploring new opportunities.
