Professional Experience
2003 – present Owner and Designer, Graffitti Aristoys and Graffiti Cairo– a graphic arts studio located in Ma’adi, Cairo, Egypt with a workshop for the production of educational toys and materials.
Arts and crafts workshops with Graffitti Aristoys, Koz Kazah Foundation, Caritas, the Alexandria library, the Suzanne Mubarak Foundation, Designopolis, Alwa wi Awrtar, Sawiris Foundation, The Health and Hope Oasis, and others.
1997 – 2003 Communications & Public Awareness Manager at the Cairo Air Improvement Project (CAIP). Entered as communications specialist – promoted to senior designer then manager.
1989 – 1997 Owner and artistic director, Graffitti Cairo.
Consultancy in packaging with Gerber Egypt.
Consultancy in Public awareness with Chemonics, Egypt on the GreenCom project for the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
1987 – 1989 Art director, Eastern Language System, Provo Utah. Responsible for advertising, creating new Arabic typefaces, and translating the computer manual for Al Katib Al Dawli word processing program.
1987 Freelance work for The LDS Church. Guest lectures on Egyptian Art. Employed at WYCAT Computers designing computer graphics using and Beta testing Boticelli Graphics program.
1981 – 1987 Owner and artistic director of Graffitti Cairo.

Personal Data
I am a 67 year-old, Egyptian citizen. I was married to an American spouse for 15 years. I have 3 children:
Camelia, Inspector office of the LAPD
Center - Wanis, owner of USMA, Calfornia
Silvana, an attorney at law with the Public Defence Office in Washington DC.
Our family enjoys archeology, sports, reading, music, and travelling and I have a special fondness for volleyball, hiking and scrabble. I am an optimist, a bit of an idealist, and surely a romantic. My art often reflects these themes, and in my business transactions I prefer to handle jobs with a strong social and ecological impact.
Since working with CAIP in 1997:
